Absolutely worst customer service I have ever encountered. My loan was originally with Bank of America who sold my loan to Nationstar. I was looking to refinance as my husband recently died and the interest rate was so high and the mortgage payments so high. I am "under water". Tried to do a HARP loan, but because my husband had not died two years prior, I was not able to get a HARPr loan. I understand guidelines, but I do not understand not returning calls, being rude. I have told them that I am seeking another lender. It will be worth it to me to pay $50,000 to another lender to be rid of Nationstar. Run away from them if you are considering a loan with them.
