Ripoff, not posting payments, forced chapter 13, attempt to take home, fakes, liars, forced to file bankruptcy, not posting payments

Countrywide home mortages is our second home mortage. We have had them for a while and suddenly in March they stopped accepting our payments although every payment was made and accepted in 2002.

SUDDENLY, we owed them in excess of $7000 in back payments and they refused to accept any more payments in March which they sent back and added that amount to the total outstanding. They strung us along until we decided to file chapter 13 to save our home. Because we were using a credit union we did not have cancelled checks but we did have copies of checks written and COUNTRYWIDE did send us a listing of payments they credited us with.

We found 6 payments that we made years ago in our copies of checks and was able to get COPIES of 4 cacelled checks. There are 3 more that we know of and possibly more due to losing a few copies of used checks, so we do not know what to request from our credit union as far as old payments. How can we make every payment in 2002 as the statements come in with no indication of being behind and suddenly in March be behind on a second mortage to the tune of approximately $7000.00 and they try to foreclose on our home!

THE FIRST MORTAGE IS NOT BEHIND! Why would the second mortage be behind except for our home has increased in value from when we first purchased it and they have data bases of such things in every area of the country. If what they say is true we would have been foreclosed on in the year 2001 or 02.

We have the proof provided by them and depending on our bankruptcy attorneys we would love to sue Countrywide for damages and an individual suit will be coming if we have anything to do with it! Countrywide is bad news if the property value goes up any at all or if your home loan is over halfway mature.
