Today I withdrew $585.00 from the ATM at this bank to pay bills. When the machine tried to dispense the cash a number of bills were stuck inside on the lower lip. I could only get so much before it sucked the remainder back in. I ended up with $305.00 and when I explained what happened to a teller at the window, they counted the money I had and took copys of my receipt and card, then told me that the machine had a note on it to only withdraw $500.00 at a time.
Someone in a hurry wont see that note and they know it, which makes me think this happens quite often and in their favor. Why dont they fix or reprogram the machine to limit the amount of per withdrawls? This is my SSI money but they were very uncaring about the situation. They said they would credit my card when they balanced the machine but that could be whenever, they would not give my a time or day of this. I would recommend that if you bank there, run dont walk to a new institution before they tax you dry. Judge Ball should be ashamed to be affiliated with this bank. Does not speak highly of his character, but maybe his share holders pocketbook.
