I was called by a George Buna, Ext. 4817 on my cell phone saying he was authorized to send me an unsecured CC with a $1000 limit which could increase to $5000 along with extra various offers. I asked him the name of the company and he said Prime Financial.
He stated that he was calling from Canada.
Mr. Buna stated that the package would be sent rush mail as soon as charge was made to my account for $197.00. The package was mailed 2nd class, at a cost of $1.84, and took 16 days to reach me. No crdit card included. Many offers but none that I hadn't already seen on the internet. After several days of exploring their information I today decided I HAD BEEN HAD and would call them afer finding out that their contact option was a blank as ws my account option.
I called them today for a refund - they said 10-12 weeks by Stephen, employee #1025 no last name as he is not authorized to give that out but he is a manager. I told him it didn't take that long to process a check and his excuse is that he has to check all companies to see that i have not used them.
I am a senior citizen and live on a fixed income and wanted an extra CC not tied to my bank account and for emergencies only. This money came from my daily living money but felt I would have right back to use so i coulld pay for - such was not the case.
I intend to do anything I have to get this money back - these people are frauds and cheats. They have deprived me of money which I needed for food and medicine that I have had to go without these things. Companies like this should be banned from the internet somehow. Also, my cell phone company, T-MOBILE specifically or my granddaughters Cingular, apparently sold my number to this commpany.
Damn it I am mad - I have gone without food and necesities because of these liars.
