Sky Bank merged with Second National Bank, with which I had an acount. Now, I cannot access my account online. Talked to like 5 different agents, but they could not get the account figurerd out.
On top of that, due to low balance and payments coming in, my account went under without notifiation, and I could not notice that due to unaccebility to the account. Furthere, after talking ot the manager, she asked me to call back on monday. I called back on monday, but they told me that there was NO MANAGER OR EVEN A CUST. REP BY THAT NAME (Gretchen). How messed up is that? Furthermore, they erased all my previous call log, and deleted my online account, so I had no history with sky bank anymore? MESSED UP.
Also, the same morning, I had deposited a check. The check did not get deposited. I Called them up asking for an explanation, and they said that it will take 1 day for the account to get updated and the check to deposit. I was like what the HELL... The payments coming in that day would be charged, and the customers end up getting hurt. This is totally unacceptable.
Also, the ATM machines dont have envelope deposit... So, we gotta go the old fashioned way of depositing check in the nighttime deposit, which would be taken care of next day..in this bank's case, next to next day as it takes 1 busioness day for processing.
My advice to everyone... Close your sky bank accounts... Open up an account in a more reliable trusted banking company like huntington or something else.
