Household Bank Total Scam request documentation of address, customer service gives different answer everytime you call them

I recently went to Best Buy to get a computer for my wife. I also signed up for the bank mastercard (both are run by HHB) I was rejected for the best buy, but sent the MC in the mail... I tried to call and activate it but was told that there was a security hold on the account due to them unable to verify my home address... I sent them two utility bills and copies of both my state and military ID's. A week later they stated they still hadn't received them... It supposedly took 7-10 days... 10 days later still nothing... I was told that it takes 2-4 weeks by another customer service rep.

I keep calling trying to get answers but kept getting blown off by their customer service, including their supervisors. After getting curious and looking them up on here, I called them and immediatly cancelled the account... Hopefully nothing will come of it, but buyer beware, and do not do business with this company. They are now on my credit report as an active account, even though I could never use them... I am glad though I didn't.
