Mr. Cohen's law firm specializes in collections efforts. His collection letter is extremely arrogant and conceited. He either thinks more highly of himself than he ought or he talks too boldly in an attempt to intimidate the recipient.
First, I never received a billing statement from his client. How can he expect to collect a payment his client has never requested?
His firm has also violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act enough times that the legal penalties I can claim in court amount to more than the bill his client claims I owe.
Additionally, I have legally-admissible evidence proving that his staff have intentionally lied to me and given false information in an unlawful attempt to trick me into complying with his collection efforts. This is a blatant violation of the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
The last line of his collection states (quoted verbatim), "PLEASE GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY!". How arrogant and conceited! He should not be telling others to govern themselves in a particular manner when he himself does not even govern himself in accordance with Florida statutes and the Florida Bar.
