Bank of America Transfer of funds ripoff?

Okay, here this goes. I am very upset, I know I haven't had my account very long and have had some bounced checks that I readily admit due to my horrible miscalculating but I guess my local bank figured what the heck she's already been overdrawn, right? To begin, I have direct deposit with my bank. I asked them to take $30.00 out weekly from my checking account to go into my savings account, simple right? I know this past week I was down to chump change in my savings, there wasn't even a dollar in there, okay? That's due to my spending habits, etc.

Anyhow, my checking account was deposited in and they supposedly withdrew the $30.00 like they do every week. I checked my account and it showed my savings was at $30.03. I checked my checking account balance and saw it was down to $29.24 and I knew I had to buy some things and had at least 2 more small checks that weren't posted yet. I had no choice but to take the $30.00 out of my savings to transfer to my checking account. Then my account showed it was at $59.24. That was okay, so I thought. I then figured it was okay and resumed to take withdraw $40.00 and made a purchase at the store of $12.84 and then a check posted for $6.18. Do the math, it should still be positive balance of just 22 cents.

Like an idiot, I trusted the free online transfer of funds since I've done this before and never had any problems. I checked my balance again today and it showed my those three transactions bounced and plus the fee and I have now a negative balance of $128.78!!!
Now I understand if the $30.00 on my savings account was still pending and actually hadn't posted than when I tried to transfer that money BACK to my checking account it shouldn't have let me do it, that money still was effective yet SINCE IT HADN'T POSTED! Duh... I was thinking I was okay, and it's like they either took it out twice or something, I honestly don't know.

It shows on my statement where I transferred the money back to my savings account which should have left my savings with almost nothing again. I called my local bank and a representative told me I had to call another 800 number, etc. Since she wasn't familiar with "online banking". I called and they didn't help me out either, I explained begging, etc. And they said they might be able to take off the fees for me BUT IT STILL DIDN'T GUARANTEE ANYTHING.

I called my employer and told them to cut out the direct deposit because once the money goes in it will pay off the fees. No sir. I will dispute this on Monday and I will pay the checks, but not those fees I didn't impose. So much for customer service, I'm negative in the hole this time. I asked for advice as far as doing transfer of funds online and they told me maybe I should just call or do it in person next time!

What is the point of "online banking" if it does no good? There conclusion for the mix up? Perhaps the transactions crossed over from me transferring the $30 dollars and they pulled it out afterwards from my checking. I told them if they had done that my savings right now would have had $30 in it again! I don't get it, do you?
