I keep track of my Comerica Bank checking account funds through mobile banking. Many times mobile banking has not been accurate and has made me overdraw on my account, thinking that an exceptional amount of funds were available. I call into the banking center and they say to me that there were pending transactions that haven't posted and I should use the transaction log, given to customers when they first open up an account. Yet in the mobile banking app, each dollar amount in red has been deducted from the account and it shows a current available amount.
I just recently made a withdraw from my checking account for $40 at 5pm (I asked the clerk if I had anything pending that hasn't already been taken out) she says no. Who in their right mind would withdraw funds if they knew it would overdraw the account, might I add I have $2,500.00 in my savings, so I could've withdrawn from that account. I checked my balance at 11pm at night with $173 in my checking account, woke up at 6am with (-$2.00) in that same checking account.
This has happened to me numerous times within my savings account, thats why I keep my money in my savings and a small amount in the checking. I am ready to take action with Comerica Banks Mobile banking. Their mobile banking is deceiving it's consumers, making you think your balance is one amount when in actuality their motive is to make you over draw on your account.
