Franklin Collection Service's have contacted me on several occasions by mail and phone. On a particular occasion I was talking to a guy letting him know that I will make payment by the mail.
He kept asking me where I worked and why I could not pay over the phone. After telling him numerous times that I do not have a credit card nor do I pay any bills over the phone he started getting hostile with me. He said they could not receive payment through the mail. He said they would sue if I did not make at least a payment over the phone that night. After I promised him that I would pay that Friday, he told me that I was like other people he had talked to untrustworthy, and that I was probaly lying. I was appalled at this.
Since then I have received a notice of intent to file a civil lawsuit.
After reading other claims I found out that they have also done this to other people and they have violated numerous FDCPA laws.
