My Credit has been ruined by "a collection effort" filed by AT&T for $518 for some unknown equipment at an address "that was never mine". This is not my debt & my credit hitory has been perfect for all of my 70 years.
I have sent numerous letters to AT&T & to Franklin Collection "disputing the claim, providing much information and asking this wrong to be rectifid'! I feel as if I am punching at a tar baby as the more I contact them the more confused they all become.
I just attempted to call AT&T for 3rd time, spoke to 6 different people/departments & soon the line went dead. They have all my info but no return call.
Simulary, I just called Franklin Collection, put on hold 3 times & then no answer & line dead again. "My Credit is Ruined for something I did not do for a Bill I do not owe at a residence I have never heard of".
Please help as I am 70 years old, very ill & at the end of my patience. My next step is to attempt to sue both AT&T & Franklin Collection as both Companies ignor my many letters.
