A sales person pressured my husband into signing a non-cacellabe lease promising him the lease could be cancelled if he was not satisfied with the service. All he needed to do was call him he would come pick up the machine and cancel the lease. He signed his name and wrote a phone number on the lease saying he could be reached at that number at all times.
Needless to say, he never answered that number or could we reach him at Lease Finance.in February we had our lawyer write Lease Finance to request cancellation. Lease Finance never responded but continued to withdraw the monthly payment until we closed the bank account in December.
Since that time they have harassed us with phone calls and threatening letters. Our lawyer has written them twice again (Feb. & Mar. 2004) trying for a response.
Yesterday we received a letter demanding payment of more than the original total of the lease. Although, they have received thirteen monthly payments.
