I refinanced my loan in 1996 with ocwen federal bank, that was the biggest worst mistake i have ever made. A couple of years ago they mailed my check back to me and sent foreclosure papers, luckily they haven't taken my home yet. I paid my way out of the forebearance.
They raised my house payment during the forebearance and i still don't know where that extra money is going. They have charged month after month of attorneys fees, and late fees, they have prev-legal/collection expenses i owe in the amount of 857.99. Property valuation expense, assessed fees, in all i have a -negative escrow in the amount of $8000.00. My loan was only 30,000..
I have tried so hard to find someone to refinance my loan and nobody will touch it. I will be paying this the rest of my life unless they take it. If anybody knows anything i can do... Ppppleeeeasssseeee let me know. Thank you very much
