After I registered for Direct TV I had been informed that I'd GET LOCAL CHANNELS... THAT'S A BALD FACE REST! The so-called "nearby" channels are selected by Direct TV without any feedback from you. The channels selected for me personally were from New Orleans... That will be 50 miles away in another condition. I reside in MISSISSIPPI and also the Biloxi channels are just 35 miles away. I don't get regional information, climate, etc. HOWEVER, Immediate is attempting to obtain me a subscription to Soccer... I will get any group, everywhere beamed to my home every Sunday... When they may order me state, Seattle Seahawks football (3000 kilometers away) yet they could not get me WLOX from 40 miles away.
