Don't use Intuit merchant services. They provided poor service and stole my money.
I used Intuit's merchant services through Quickbooks for 5 years without complaint. They required that I update my version of Quickbooks and after I refused I arranged for merchant services online but without the Quickbooks tie-in.
On the 1st transaction, over $3000, they refused to let the transaction go through even though they told me that there was not an issue about whether it was a valid transaction.instead, they required that I provide them with confidential information about the transaction. I refused and requested to speak with a supervisor. They refused to let me do so. I provided them with the signed customer ticket and general information about the transaction but they still refused to release my customer's funds to me. I requested that they refund the transaction to the customer and they did nothing. I then manually reversed the transaction and told them I was terminating their service numerous times. They kept stalling and putting roadblocks in the way to my canceling. Finally, after screaming at the 3rd rep over 2 weeks that I was canceling the service and demanding that it happen immediately that rep cancelled my service.
After I had told them that I revoke persmission for them to take any money from my personal or business accounts they took money from my account DESPITE NOT HAVING PERMISSION. Not only did they take money for the transaction where they refused to fulfill the transaction (which I don't believe they should be paid for because they didn't provide the service), they also took over $80 unrelated to any transaction or known fee. Their explanation for this was it was the monthly fee of $9.95 but they have provided no explanation of why they withdrew over $80 for a $9.95 monthly fee despite several requests for an explanation.
