This company put my account on my credit file as a charge off account in 2008. I opened this care credit account for dental use with a limit of $1000 in 2005. I only used $965 of that limit. I had a plan that was billed to my account each and every month that would protect me in the event that i loss my job. Well in 2008 i loss my job due to the economy. I called gemn and started the process of getting the account taken care of due to the plan. Sent in all documents required. Didn't hear anything else from the company. No collection calls etc. Thought it was taken care of. Low and be whole i had my credit file pulled june and saw they had put this account on my credit file as a charge off account. They have no customer service ethics at all. I was hung up on more than once by reps. Was directed to far away countries for customer service help. Got no where. Went through supervisor's no help there either. Nobody seem to know what the heck was going on put it off on other departments. Stayed on the phone i know at least 1 hr time after time with a rep that didn't know what to do so they just hung up on me. It takes 30 minutes to go throught the prompts to even get a live rep on the phone. They now have me owing $1800. When i only had a $1000 credit limit and i only used about $900 of the limit. I am still disputeing this today.
