On 12/22 i accessed my amex account and tried to select charges to pay over time, my online account stated i needed to contact amex customer service I contacted amex customer service and explained the problem and the customer service stated that the account had been frozen, the customer service was rude and told my 22 years of never paying a payment late was worthless, said i had a collection on my credit account, had to check my credit on 12/24 and the collection was from 2005 for a bill sent to wrong address and it was paid, i have opened a amex blus account since then and the paid collection was on my credit at that time, they also reduced my credit line on that account by 15000 and that has since affected my credit bureau negatively as my account is now almost at its limit. Please let me know of all agencies i can contact and complain about this credit fraud that amex has done.
