I received a phone call this morning from John Smith (he had an accent so I was immediately skeptical) the number was from Fort Worth Texas 817-710-6279. Told me that he had a claim against me for receiving a Cash Advance and not paying it back and asked me if I had an attorney. Funny thing is just this morning I paid off my advance so I became furious when he went on to explaining that I was going to be taken to court.
I asked him where he was calling from and he said Cash Advance USA and I realized it is not the same place I received my loan from, I tried explaining that to him and he wouldn't let me speak he then asked me to verify my social security number. I hung up on him and looked up Cash Advance USA and found a report on here which made me feel better about not verifying any info but I did receive a call from my bank asking if I attempted logging into my account online with 3 failed attempts which I did not. They have all my info an are trying to get into my account. Please beware of these Scam Artists.
