I have been dealing with Fairbanks for a few years now. I got behind on notes. I was told to send them a money order for over two thousand dollars, which I did. But I always seem to be behind on my notes.
I ended up in a chapter 13 to keep from losing my home. I had to get out of this because i couldn't afford my house note plus a chapter 13 note. After I got out of the bankruptcy my house notes which were behind, fairbanks attorney fees, miscellaneous fees have all been accumulating 11% plus simple daily interest. This is where the $9300 comes from cuz there was no way i was this far behind. I have asked several times for a payment history but have never received one.
I tried to get some help from them, moving notes to the rear of the mortgage, but they turned me down because of excessive debt. Well hello, that's how i got behind. I have not been late for over 14 months and they still will not work with me. They told me not to send in my Nov. 03 payment, so I am behind now nov, dec, jan and feb...
I did get a forebearance agreement with them for 6 months with a balloon payment due on the 7th month over $9300.00. I told them there was no way i could pay this and they informed me i would not lose my home just call them and i would be put in another forebearance. I called them twice in seperate months to make sure of this. I was told the same thing both times. However, when i called they said i would have to come up with 40% of the 9300.00, just a small detail everyone left out before. Now my house is going up for auction in August. I NEED HELP, i can't afford to move or lose my home and with a chapter 13 on my record I can't seem to refinance... Someone please contact me.
