Mortgage was sold to Fairbanks Capital in December. Company Claims three backpayments were not made to former lender. Draft proofs have been submitted to Fairbanks but company refuses to handle these as credited payments. Now company claims $10,000 is owed and large amount of legal fees.
Company is now trying to foreclose our house. When I try to contact company personnel, all I get is a machine recording saying that if you leave more than two messages in 48 hours, call will not be returned. Personnel very rude when I do get someone and threatens to hang up on me!
Fairbanks is trying to get me to sign forebearance agreement with large balloon payment in three months. They will not agree to remove legal fees and late fees if, somehow, my dispute is cleared up.
