I received this odd card in the mail the week of February 8th. I stated to my husband it looks like some type of scam. He told me to call them and check it out. I did a few days later.
Well, when I called the number on the paper the rep was very rude and unhelpful! She wanted all kinds of information from me as soon as the call started. I said that I would like to know what your company is before I activate this card.
She told me that she will not help me and that if I call back the next rep is going to want the same info before they can tell me anything. I just told her I guess I will never activate or use this card, because I will not give my info to a company I know nothing about and hung up.
I work for a company that does fullfilment and I work on the phones as a customer service rep for many differant catalogs and web sites. My company would never treat a customer this way. Working in the business I know that information can be given to a customer before any type of personal info is shared.
