Today we got the first national cca bank card in the mail with instructions to activate it, what caught my eye and made me skeptical was the p.O. Box address. I immediately went to the web to find info. The only thing I could find was this site and my suspicions were confirmed.
My husband then called the 800 number for activation and informed the girl that he would like to get some information before activating his card. This woman actually TOLD him that she could NOT give out information to anyone unless their account had been activated and proceeded to push him for information. We had this site open at the time and my husband told her to check it out because there is an aweful lot of negative things being reported and he asked if she could refer him to anywhere that he could see some positive feedback.
Again, she refused stating she was unauthorized until she had his bank info and the card was activated. At this point, he just laughed in total discust and hung up the phone. PLEASE if you get one of these cards, cut it up.
