Hello, I have been a Chase client since 2006. We took on the loan with Chase under a few recommendations as to reduce monthly payments and restructure our monthly finances in to a mortgage that would decrease our monthly payments. Hindsight being 20/20 i should have not listened to a bank trying to sell a mortgage. We had it appraised, the appraiser asked us how much we needed the value to come in at, we thought that this was all in good faith. Now what we realize is that this is just a good way to earn a house with really nothing to lose but some numbers on a computer screen. We have been trying to rectify this problem for nearly 2 years now, we were approved for the trial period (who isn't) and during that period they needed more docs and then declined us, we filed again, same scenario.in the fall of 09 we were told they would consider a short sale to the title to avoid foreclosure, so we agreed. We took an apt, moved our belongings from the home, cleaned it and tried to spruce it up as much as possible for a quick sale. Long story short, I had visited the home about every 1 or 2 times a week, just to make sure of any problems, and on my doorstep lay a fed ex package. This was in oct of inside it says " congratulations, we are pleased to award you with a modification loan, please sign and notarize the following load docs and return by the date requested by". We did, we moved back into the home, I called 2-3 times a week to find out if anything further was needed from us and to ask them when this would reflect my credit report. Everyone I talked to tells me " it could take upwards of 120 days for it to be uploaded in to the system but to be patient. Still the letters of intent to foreclose are coming and they tell me it is an automatic computer generated letter and nothing can be done until the loan is uploaded. Late Feb I called once again to find out only that they have reniged on my mod and that the payments i have made are insufficient and still my delinquent status is growing every day. So I find out two weeks ago that I will be served with a complaint. I am getting my ducks in a row to fight this. I hope anyone else that has this ridiculous escapade happen does not just lay down and i would love to team up with anyone aggressive enough. I hate the fact that they hid behind people at the front counter anwering the phone who dont know what the heck is going on with anything. It is an act of a coward. If the banks would apply the money that they have received from the government. Excuse me. FROM YOU THE TAX PAYER, this recces-ion wold be better than it has been and i think some of these people that have been fighting for there home would be in a better mental state. They would have a home again and that my friends is everything to anyone! Who can go through life with a positive outlook at anything not knowing for sure where they are going in the next60 days? No one! I do have a good out look because i have found out there are legal firms out there willing to help. If you want to contact me with any info you have feel free! [email protected] Thank you for listening
