I have had one of these cards for a year or so. I recently had money direct deposited, and then after going to the grocery and having the card declined (even though there was $500 on it) I was told that because I had let my daughter have her tax refund direct deposited on there, they would need documents faxed to them to verify identity.
We faxed them all the documents that they asked for, and were told that it would take 10 business days to "verify". Well the 10 business days were up yesterday, and they are still "verifying" and now they tell me that sometime maybe today, or in a few days, they will call me with their resolution, and will let me know whether or not I can have my funds... I guess they feel that if they want, then they can keep them, and that I never needed the money anyway.
Don't ever use this... Once I get my money back, hell will freeze over and the devil will use his pitchfork for a hockey stick before I ever go there again.
Don't be fooled... These people will screw you without even a kiss or a reach around.
