I had the misfortune to be laid-off in Jan. 2003. The unemployment was not enough to cover my payments and utilities. Tried to file bankruptcy, no income so that was bust. I asked Aurora Loan Service to contact the FHA-Insurance to bring my mortgage current. To qualify my loan has to be delinquent between 4 and 12 months. They refuse to contact or ignor my letters. I will most likely lose my home Feb. 2004. They send me letters asking me to fill out these forms enclosed. Nothing is ever enclosed.
When your lender files a Partial Claim, the US Dept. Of Housing and Urban Development will pay your lender the amount necessary to bring your mortgage current. You must execute a Promissory Note, and a Lien will be placed on your property until the Promissory Note is paid in full.
