Note payoff and false charges from 1998

I ask for a payoff on my note and recieved a charge of $462.50 for insurance fees from 1998. I faxed my copy of the proof of insurance to them on 2-11-11 at which time I was told by "Sandy" that is all I needed to do to prove I had insurance and Green Tree did not have right to charge me for a years worth of insurance. I waited a few days and recieved no call, letter, or any correspondance from Green Tree so I called them again, at which time I was told they were checking my files to see what the charges was really for. I called back a few days later with the same answer from "carol". I ask to speak to a manager and got now where with him except "they were tracing it out". I called Feb. 25th and was told by Christie Anderson the $462.50 was for some charge to the previous owner of the house (I assumed the note with out extra charges on my paper work) They don't seem to know what is going on or what the charges are really for. When I ask for a manager that will do something I am told they are checking but how long does it take? We can get to the moon quicker than these people can check records and then they want people to trust they have the right information? It has been nearly a month, no answer to why I am charged with $462.50 and they can't tell me what it is for, they continue to charge me interest daily and seem to refuse to work with me. I AM TRYING TO PAY OFF A NOTE, and they want to charge me for something I didn't get. Help me to expose these unfair trade practices and stupid people to the public so no-one else will get shafted like they are doing me. If I were 1 day late on payments I would be charges late fee's so I want them to pay me for stalling me and prove what the $462.50 is, and why I was never told about that charge that has been there since 1998?
