The company National Credit Acceptance took my money to settle a debt with a credit card company. That cc company was HSBC. It was paid in full and put on mt credit report as settlement paid in full. They then went out of business and sold my collection all over again to... Ready. The same company that was supposed to be out of business and just changed their name to Sacor financial. They now have been calling me to collect the same debt under a new credit card Chase because that is who bought it... What a scam and now I have sent a letter to all three credit bureaus... What is my rights? I know I can't be the only one they have done this to... What have others done in my situation?
