Nightmare in the Home Retention department

We never wanted our home loan to go to Countrywide or BOA. It is just how things happened. Then my husband's business just came to a halt in the summer of 09. We needed help and tried to get help with a home loan modification in Nov of 09. I jumped through every hoop I was asked to jump through. I sent in 60 pages of imformation when they asked for it. We made our modified payment every month on time and asked every month what the status was on our loan.in April or May we were close to the end -so we thought. I had to send everything in again. I did fax it and then I e-mailed, called and faxed in trying to find out if they got my information. I couldn't get a hold of that lady after she told me everything I was suppose to send in. But whoever I talked to on the phone said they got it.in June or July I was told I was turned down for not sending in everything. I did! THey even said I did. So they started the process again. Again we called every month. Spending over an hour and half on the phone everytime getting sent all over the place. My husband is working now for somebody else. Things are improving but our house stuff is stalled. So we get the letter that we are about to lose the house and the letter of intent to accelerate. I have been diagnosed with Lupus in October. It is an auto immune disease triggered by STRESS! We will find out on Dec 30 if we really have to move or not. Because BOA says that it is just part of the process and that we are still in review. We have 5 daughters and I am in too much pain all the time to even think about moving. Dealing with BOA is an absolute nightmare.
