Home Loan Modification - customer complaint

My complaint is Bank of America does not give offers to customer who are going through a tough time trying to keep up their Mortgage payments. I have never been more than 30 days past due. Around 8 I lost my baby and was on bed rest for three weeks. I seen an advertising on TV and I picked up the phone as if I was the happiest person on the earth to know I had some help. I called to see if I was elegible for a deferment until I was able to catch back up on my payments. The customer service rep didn't have any morals, but quickly transfer my call to Retention... Let the second person know what I was going through trying to keep my credit on target to offer me help so I ask about waiving my late fees and she say I need to write to BOA the reason why I needed the fees waive and I will credit one fee. So the rep transfer me to Loan Modification Team to help me with my payments and he advice me the steps to take and let me know I could not be late for the next two months until the process was over. I continue to get calls from the Modification Team about 4 months later saying they need update on my paystubs and other information on the check list. I begin to get upset because at this time I was back to work and really wouldn't need the modification, but thinking it will help me get my other bills back on track. Talk to Dawn and she say the paperwork I sent was old and I'm like huh, because I felt like you should have called way before now and everything I send now would not show I need help so I asked what took so long to contact me. All she could say was I understand how you feel and she would review the information on my documents was just to send my bank statements over and so I send the information again, and now they say we could not read the information you send and the timeframe has expired. So I send new information again what was asked on the letter. Then now it take two months to get a response and ask the same information again but this time I had to verify utilty bill information where I live. I sent documents of bank statments, Bank of America check list, and DOA form, paystubs, wouldn't you think this was to verify my home and address where I live... A month later I recieved a letter saying at this time you do not qualify for Home Modification in 3... It took eight months to get a letter showing a rejection. What kind of finance company treat their loyal customers with no attention whatsoever? I have yet to be on time with my payments and no help from Bank of America.By the grace of God and my job I am working on getting a new company to help me with my mortgage payments bc I can't refinance or modify with BOA. I wish I could go back to Countrywide because the company would at least try to help you with all options, not just one. At this point I don't have a choice because I am not the CEO, but I am the customer to find business elsewhere on my own.
