On October I was received a charge of $1.00 by a company called MWI Homeworks Plus. There was no number to where to call, so I decided to look for the company online.
This would also help me in case I made a purchase and I couldn't remember. I bumped into several fraudulent cases against this company. I also got into their website, www.mwihomeworksplus.com.in the website they had their number, which I called (1-800-962-4106). I got the telephone number, and it was someplace in CT. There was no answer.
Then I searched under this website, where I found another number. I called the place and I received a voicemail. It asked for my name, number, and account number. It claimed that they would get back to me. So I left my information, but I never got a call back. I went back into their website and I noticed several things. One said something about click here before you call, which I clicked. It said that I was automatically entered through applying for a $25 gift card, which I never got.
I noticed there was also a customer service e-mail where I can leave an e-mail message. So I left them a message informing them that I didn't do the purchase and that I wanted them to take me away from the club. Thinking the problem would be solved, I did not bothered to continue with the investigations. Today I was looking at my bank account and realized that, again, I was charged by this company. This time it was not $1.00 but $14.95.By this time I was really upset because it took them practically two months to charge me, thus leading me to think they had solved my problem.
I returned to the website, but now they do not have a customer service e-mail system anymore. I called the number but did not leave a number. Now, I email my bank and left them a message about this situation. I asked them what I can do to get a refund and for them to investigate the corporation. I let them know everything that was going on. I also asked them to change my bank account, because of fear that the company may try to charge me again.
The only proof that I have about this situation is that e-mail that I sent the bank, nothing else. I want people to know about this company, it is time that they stop getting away with what they are doing. I read one fraud report on this company from this website already and I agree, we need to place a lawsuit from all the people who have suffered fraud from this company. It is time that this company is stopped and that we are paid for what they have done to us.
