I applied for a loan online, this company was one of the companies that responded. I received four calls before answering back. I was contacted by Katherine Todd (a rep for Allco Financial). I was told I qualified to receive a $5000.00 and help rebuilding my credit by mang my payments on time. I have really bad credit, and was required to make a security deposit of $800.00 to complete the process. After 6 months of ontime payments the full deposit was to be refunded into my account. The payment was to be sent to Jamie Roberts c/o Allco Financial, Houston, Tx. I was contacted shortly after informing me that Ms. Roberts had a family emergency and the payment was to be routed to Sheila Ossor (Winsdor, Ontario, Canada) c/o Sledge Insurance Agency. After having been in contact with Katherine Todd through out the morning, within 20min. Of making the payment the phone lines for Allco Financial were disconnected. I have sent repeated emails to the reps at Allco, and have not received a response. I have contacted and filed reports with the local and Atlanta PD. My family has been left without any means and no way to replace what we have lost. Please be very careful with this company. They will take your money.
