In reviewing my credit report, came upon OCWEN reporting that my loan had been modified under the HAMP program, when in fact I was denied based on their shabby paperwork handling. It is my understanding that they could have received funding from the Feds to "approve" me for this program. I believe that they may have received the funds and then denied me thinking that I let it go. Ocwen then stated that I was "approve" for an in house modification, that reduced the payment by $30. I was further told that there is an issue with the title, not explanation or proof on heir part. I have had the property for over 4 years, if that were the case where is the issue and the proof that they spoke of.
