My wife had applied for a pay day loan with this company. She was told they would notify her if she was approved. She received an email asking her for "more information" before they could process the loan. She responded back, a reply to "Wendell" at paychecktoday to Cancel/Remove. Nothing in the email indicated the loan was approved and she decided not to take out the loan.
This morning she receives an email back from.."Wendell" that they had deposited the money in our account. No documentation, nothing finalized and I have the emails to prove it. How can they get away with this? This should be against the law and the law should be against this type of conduct. It appears we have no choice but to pay the money back or close the account. We don't know what our rights are.
