I was a relatively new customer. I say was because as of 10 minutes ago I am no longer a customer of Bank of America in any context having closed all of my accounts due to extremely unprofessional behavior on the part of the employees. First off I work for a midsized company in the bullion industry which happens to be a block from my local BofA. Many of my co-workers bank there although the company does not. I was assured by the former manager (stephan) that should I bring my business over I would not have to worry about holds on any payroll checks because his branch was soooo familiar with my employer. Longish story shorter, 1 week later a new manager promises the same when the system prompted a hold on my check he smiled and said "not an issue, I'll take care of it right now!" it certainly became an issue when my debit card wouldn't go through leaving me stranded at a fricken' olive garden with my kids, "what happened on your weekend with daddy girls???" (I can just hear the ex loving that one) I just went through the same situation while attempting to make my deposit only to essentially have them refuse to allow me to speak to a manager. I will go back to the crappy bank (chase) that I left. At least they were honest and crappy. B of A employees are the biggest let down of all.
