I recieved a payday loan from this company in 2008 and have been harrassed every since them. I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy and it was finalized in 2009.
The company has called me repeatedly at work and emailed me as well demanding payment. My lawyer has contacted them and they continue to harrass me.
When I speak to someone via phone I am threatened with imprisonment for check fraud. I try to explain that I have failed bankruptcy. This does not matter to the company, because the rude calls continue to come to my job.
What if anything can be done about this? The caller says he will cost me my job.
