Houshold Finance Corp No Customer service - lose payments, misappropriate payments, charge exhorbitant interest rates

For over a two years we have tried to have HFC lower our payments because we are both retired, disabled and have other debt and cannot pay the almost $1900 month for the mortgages they carry. They have charged inappropriate late fees (the umbrella company HSBC cannot seem to send the payments to the correct companies). We have repeated called (no one seems to ever know what's going on..) wrote letters, threatened, cried, cajoled and asked for help from government agencies to no avail. HFC seems to be above the law in their practice, ethics and morals.
