They try to collect money in any way. When they do not collect they become very vengeful.
They are buyers of paper debts for 10 cents on a dollar. They also receive paper billing from the original debtor. They claim to be representing a client, but they are trying to intimidate people to collect on their investment.
They operate in ohio and trying to collect on a debt that was dicharged or used as a tax write off. When a company use write offs for tax deduction they are not to double dip. This debt is considered paid for. But they buy this cheap paper in order to collect from people who will pay them to keep their credit clean. (this could be considered bribery, or even protection rackettering.
They have not had a charter in the state of ohio (to do business) since it was taken away from them in 2/06, by the state of ohio taxation dept. But in 2008 they filed a claim against my credit report for not paying a debt that was discharged by cox, comm. I disputed the fact that i had owed any money to cox comm. They have verified the debt from 2008 and still verifying it today. They were judge and jury.
They report the same debt to the credit reporting agencies and even split the bill up so they could report it more than once and make it look like i had 3 collections instead of one.
Earlier in this year i contacted the ohio secretary of state for their standing. I received a letter much to my surprise that their charter was canceled. Back in 2007.. Since they were cancelled by the state and had their charter taken away (they didn't pay their tax bill) i wrote to the 3 credit agencies and ask for a deletion. It came back verified once more.
Not only did they verify it, they claim it was a new debt, and it will stay on my credit for 7 more years. Is that being deceptive, or down right vengeful, cause i didn't pay them on their 10 cent investment, which they never received a judgement for.
There was never proof nor a judgement proving i owed this debt, but they were the judge and jury and they set out to destroy my credit. All this with a cancelled charter.
If you have a lawyer who is interested in taking on this case, i will certainly sue, and they would have to pay the lawyers fee, from what i understand.
This has been reported to, ohio atty. General, / the federal trade commission, / and also to the secretary of state / and the 3 credit agencies.
