My Mom forwarded a letter that was sent to my grandfather's house from ASSet Acceptance, LLC. It stated that I owed B of A $250. I ran my credit report from three agencies and it is not there. I happened to have an old credit report from the early 90's (1991) and low and behold there it is.
I have no idea what this money owed to B Of A is about. What ever it was they lost their chance to collect it back in the 90's. What kind of low life company tries to collect on a debt from the early 90's??? If anyone from ASSet Acceptance is out there-KISS MY ARSE!!! You cannot collect on a debt after 7 years. I doubt there is even proof of what the original debt is from.
I've been reading horror stories about ASSet Acceptance Corp. What a bunch of scum bags. I believe in Karma, and Karma is coming for you ASSet Acceptance!!!
