Used Number 1 Discount Tax Service for * (my 17 year old son's) 2009 taxes—Should have known something was arong at time of filing—only got Text version of return & They have no phone support—tried to get to my account and they have no record SS#. Fed was free filing — State cost $14.95
Contacted them by mail about not being able to access my account—Heard from them once about needing additional info, which I provided. Have not heard anything from them—Called IRS—there filing was rejected (No reason given)—Checked with NC State Dept of Revenue and they never received filing—I was charged for this filing.
Told to refile—used Turbo Tax—Fed filing was free and state filing was free as 20 states have reciprocal agreements with tax companies. Got copies of Tax Returns (Fed and State) and 2 email confirmations of successful efiling.
May be charge penalties by IRS and State.
Have asked for refund—doubt I will get it—do use them—they were on IRS site—Use Turbo Tax—DO NOT USE # 1 DISCOUNT TAX SERVICE
