After doing some extensive research I have figured what these Con Artist are up to.
As a Merchant the only thing we have control over is swiping the Credit Card, having the customer sign our copy of the receipt, give them their copy, thank them and say goodbye. We could not change the programming of our terminal if we wanted to. The PCI Compliance is the responsibility of the ISO that set our account up. They Supplied the Terminal, Installed it, Programmed it and Tested It. If you look up the PCI Process it is a SAQ. Self Assessment Questionnaire.
There is no cost associated with it. All you do is fill it out, send it to the processing company and they need to file it. All we are doing is swiping cards. We don't process cards that's what they get paid to do. We store our receipts with our company records. They are just trying to Con the Merchants out of more money.
I'm preparing formal complaints to be filed with the Attorney Generals Office.
It's time these Low Life Con Artist are brought before a Court Of Law!!!

The processing Company needs to examine the way things are processed, since we have absolutely no control over it. File a Written Complaint with AG in your state!!! Please let me know how you make out!!!
