I reviewed an older rebuttle dated 06/20/03, by a man named Bobby from Ohio. I totally agreed with him. All these complaints are from people who got behind on there mortgage and are basically upset because they have fees, well boo hoo... Do you really think you can just live rent free. WAKE UP! I personally only pay apt rent for now and for the couple of years i have lived in an apt, I ALWAYS HAVE RENT IN ON THE 1ST, like your supposed to, i will let other bills go past due before i let my resisdence go behind. Its called "get your priorities staight!" Its funny when people call and are upset because their behind, but yet their cell phones, home phones, electric, CAR pymts, CAR insur are all paid up... Your mortgage should come FIRST. There are a small amt of people that we can understand if they fall behind, for ex. Elderly people who are on fixed income.
Anyways, if you go past your grace period (and thats another topic that gets me... There's a DUE DATE and grace period thats not to be taken advantage of) there will be a late charge, if you go past 30 days, you will get a letter from the attorneys because you just breached you contract (meaning broke it) and be reported as such, if you go past 60 days you will go into foreclosure... And yes there will be fees. Dont expect to go past due and not suffer the consequences. And by that way. All of this is in YOUR MORTGAGE DOCS. And you should all have a copy of that. And if you dont, i dont understand why you would not have a copy of a legal document that you signed.
So, my main purpose of this message is. Get your facts staight before you make yourself sound stupid, the majority of these complaints make me laugh because they all basically stated they got behind and have fees. Well. Duh!
On another note. What i do agree with, the legal dept does need to try and call more people back. However, they do have alot of FC loans to deal with and there is only a small # of them. They are hiring new people in that dept, so hopefully things will get better in regards to that.
Ocwen doesnt care about their employees. I can say that much about ocwen. We are treated as if we are in Kindergarden, having to raise our hands to go to the bathroom, having supervisors and floor leads talk down to us, not letting us transfer to different departments, basically we cant move up in the company when many are qualified to do so.
Thats all i have to say on that note..
