I made a payment agreement with a hospital, after a few payments the hospital sent me to collections. I made the same agreement with NCO.
I was able to get a better job and was able to pay more than the agreed monthly payment. Paid off the debt within 3 months.
The amount is showing unpaid on my credit report. I keep calling them and faxing cancelled checks proving that the debt is paid. However, no one will take it off my credit report.
If it isn't taken off of my credit report by the end of this week, I am calling the Better Business Bureau. This is ridiculous.
