I read an add about a single mom in my town that was able to pay her bills by an internet website. I thought it sounded internesting so I went to the website to learn more as there was not a lot of information on her site. (that should have told me something right there)
The website stated a fee of 2.97 OK. I figured I would get something in the mail. I did not received anythng. It also directed me to a site to sign up for credit cards. I didn't know what that was and I backed out of that website.
Next thing I know I get a message on my voicemail stating that some woman is excited to be working with me? I didn't sign up to work with anyone. I called the number on my caller ID and was advised it wasn't them and was given another number. I called the number.
The gentleman on the other end started out to be very courteouse until he found out I wanted to cancel this membership that I didn't order. It was then he told me I had 3 days for a trial but couldn't tell me what I had purchased and it was non refundable. There was no manager to talk to. Just flat was not going to return my money. They obviously have a lot of complaints.
I called back and made sure I was not going to get charged for anything else. I was told there was no confirmation # to be given. Just the reps name. But if I were canceling within the 3 days the previous rep was going to give me a cancelation #. They can refund the $139. This is a scam
