I was contacted via telphone by Michael Murray, because of a application I filled out stating "finding the best mortgage possible" on the internet. I paid the $300.00 application fee and have called them at least 50 times since July 7th.
I received the loan application on the 23rd of July and filled it out. I mailed the original and faxed a copy on July 25th. I was told that they could not read the fax when I called them. I explained that I also mailed the original to them. I was told by someone named Shante, that they would call me back when they received it. I never heard from them again.
I have called numerous times to call them but all I get is their answering machine. I checked with the Better Business Bureau to find they also have several unresolved cases against them.
On September 23rd I went back on the internet and filled out another application (just in hopes of receiving another phone call from them). Low and behold on the 26th I received a call from Mark. I let him do his spiel and when I agreed it sounded like a great deal, he informed me that all I needed to do was pay him $300.00 and the deal would be done. I then told him that I had already paid the fee and have heard nothing from them since. He said he would check into it and I gave him Michael Murray's name and phone number.
We hung up and not a minute later I received a call from Randy. He states that he is out of the Atlanta office and Murray is out of the Kansas office. He also asked for the check number and routing number so he could verify this transaction and he would get back to me in a timely manner. Well it is now October 4th and I have not heard a word from any off them. Watch out for any loan requesting an application fee.
