Corporation ripoff we were charged late fees and were not late, also sent foreclosure notes when payments were made, also charged for ins but had already

We had received phone call after phone call day and night about our payments, saying that this was an attempt to collect a debt. When in fact the payments were current and they also added a late fee that should of not been applied. I would send my payment in and I would get a call 15-20 days later saying that did not receive this months payment so I would look to see when the check had went through my checking account and it had been through my bank and they had not yet applied my payment to my mortgage account.

So I had spoke to a rep. Regarding this on one occasion and I had questioned why it took so long to apply the payment and she couldn't tell me why she said that I would have to fax in a formal complaint, which did not do any good. We also had received a phone call that we did not have home owners insurance and that the attempt to collect on that occasion was due to they put a $400.00 and some odd dollars for their insurance coverage and I had told them that I had never had a lapse in my insurance coverage so I faxed them the declaration page.

I had followed up to make sure that they had adjusted this amount off of my account, and finally 6 weeks later they had said that it was adjusted off. They did that to us the following year also and I had to do this all over again. Hopefully, they actually adjusted the amount off, because when I ask for a print-out of my statment you can not understand a thing on it. I have also faxed copies of checks that went through our bank that they say they never received, I've done that quite a few many times.

We have had our credit destroyed due to they don't apply our payments until they see fit so it looks like we make our payments 30 days late every month which in fact we do not. Me and my husband are trying to sell the house that we have this mortgage with and they had sent a foreclosure notice to the house and the people that want to eventually buy this home were sick to death because they thought that we were taking their payments and not paying the mortgage. So they had checked on the internet and found this web-site and had told us about this and my husband and I were shocked that we were not the only ones being victimized by this company. Please someone help us!
