I was in desperate need of a car so I called Oak Motors and spoke with a dealer. I asked if they had any cars that was $6,000 or less, I was told they had several and to come on in. When I went there the cheapest car on the lot was $9,000. Being that I needed a car I ended up getting it. I was also told that they check the cars out before saleing them. Two days later I started having trouble with the car. I called them and they told me to bring it in. So I brought it in a week later and they wanted $50 just to look at the car. I told him I didnt have the money or the time for this. The mechanic told me since check engine light isnt on that it would be ok till I could bring it back. Again I told him that im very busy and I dont know when that will be and asked about a loaner car (it said on website that they provide you with one if car is being worked on) they said they only do that if they have to keep car longer then 8 hours. So I started doing some research on the car and found out its only worth $5,000. I only had this car for 9 weeks now and its a peice of junk. The car had over 124,000 miles on it. The transmission is slipping, gear shift sticks, brakes are making a noise, short in glove box and trunk light, door wont stay open, seat belts are messed up, scratches all over the car and they covered it up with non matching paint, paint is fadeing in spots, and I cant even run the heat due to windows fogging up real bad. This car is not what its worth. Also it stated on website and still does that they give free oil changes and I was told they no longer do that.
