EMC caused me to lose my home and made my credit score drop, when I first received my loan for my home, the payment was under $500 a month, the last payment I made was $719 a month. I called EMC and told them that the payment was to high and they did not try to work anything out, EMC then foreclosed on the house and started sending me bills and letters. The Federal Trade Commission filled a law suite for unfair loan and collection practices. EMC lost. I have received 3 payments so far totaling less than $1600 but I still lost my house. I lost my house April they sold the house in 2007 to someone else, I found out today that EMC moved my foreclosure date to Dec. How can they do this? EMC is very underhanded and has hurt many people. Something needs to be done! Stop this Now. I am now seeking legal help at this point. Please do not have anything to do with this company, It will end up badly for you. I feel that EMC is one of the big reason that the housing industry is in the shape it is in now. Sense I had dealings with EMC I can not get a home loan. They have hurt me badly.
