I bought my house almost 3 years ago and had not had much trouble with it until this last year. I first got a month behind when my husband lost his job. I tired to make a partial payment which was short just $40 they put it into a susspense account and tacked on a fee. Then they filed forclosure on my house. I got notices in the mail regarding this and called them ready to make the rest of my payment.By then it had more then doubled. I lost my ins because I was trying to make the payments they had requested. This then shot my payment up from 446 a month to 776. Then at the end of dec they sent papers of forclosure. Two days before xmas. They demanded a down payment of 1600 on my loan and somehow it was now at 8000 dollars behind. I missed only 4 payments in the history of the loan. This adds up to maybe 3000. I don't know where the extra charges are coming from. My payments are now at 1100 a month. With this payment I can't make my house ins and can barely make my payments.
On a note for them, I have only encountered 2 rude people from this company. They have worked with me mildly, but still made it inpossable for me to make my payments. My house only gets 2000 a month in income and I have 2 kids. I have lost my car because I had to make a choice to have a car or a house. My credit is in the toilet so I can't get a loan to get away from them.
I would be interested in a lawsuit or other legal action. I just want to know where my money went and how come my payments are so high.
