FCNB ripoff added late payment fees

Hey everyone. I too was charged a late payment of $35 for the month of july even though my payment was on time. Ive been using yahoo billpay to schedule a monthly payment for the past 2 years and never had a problem till now. I have all the documentation from yahoo that indicates the payment was made on time and will be sending it to FCNB.

I never even noticed the late fee until i saw this board and then i went back and checked my statement and noticed a late fee. Who knows how long this has been going on. My card was also closed by FCNB a few months ago because my monthly payment went up $2 and i didnt even know it.

I havent used the card in over 2 years because i've been trying to pay it off.

ANYWAY... They have a website u can use to access ur account online:

They mention on their site, indirectly that FCNB no longer exists and some other ocmpany is handling all the accounts. Below is copied and pasted directly from their site:

All inquiries must be submitted to us in writing at P.O. Box 922788, Norcross, GA 30010-2788. Please include a copy of your statement, if available, indicating the payment or charge in error. Also, please include a daytime phone number at which we can contact you if we need further information.

Who is CardMember Services?

CardMember Services, located in Norcross, Georgia, has been engaged by First National Bank of Omaha to provide customer service for First Consumer's credit card account holders.
