First Consumers National Bank ripoff a number and address that may help

I discovered my check had not been deposited yet & it went out 3 weeks ago, I was afraid of getting a late fee so I found this number & address & was able to get help. (I Think)

My husband called & were able to get the late fee waived & he was able to get finance charge waived. But until we recieve our statement we will not know for sure whether they did this for us or not.

We were given no notice regarding where to send payment or that our account had went to another Co.

My husband said when you call this number do not push any buttons & just wait till someone gets on the line.

Is it illegal to do what they have Done? The no notice on where to send payment & then charge you a late fee. How can they do this?
